Kuala Lumpur (Day Three - Part 1 of 2): Petronas Towers, Tallest Twin Buildings

If Paris have the Eiffel Tower, Malaysia has the Petronas Twin Towers. It is the symbol for Malaysia. We must have a shoot session there in the morning especially after seeing its grandeur every night from our hotel room. We actually turn off the lights and open our curtains. The light from the buildings around especially of the twin towers serves as our night light. The Petronas Twin Powers is still the tallest twin towers in the world and was once the worlds tallest too. So this was our planned itinerary on our last day at KL before flying off in the afternoon. Because our location was quite near we had enough time to laze around in bed. This is my favorite times during vacations. The bonding opportunity with my son. And I have to say I have the sweetest little boy in the whole world!

Ready for the 10 minute walk to the twin towers.

Relying on my previous experience I thought we could go up the overhead bridge if we go queue up for a ticket early. Upon getting there we realized its closed on Mondays and even more they have a fee! I managed to get up there free!

We ended up in front of the towers by Jalan Ampang. I believe this area still have the best view of the towers. You can see alot of people coming here to take photos making funny poses some with their tripods even. My son was sleeping the moment we got there so my husband took photos while we relax in the bench waiting for our model to wake up.

When he woke up his expressions says it all. Another big loud 'woooow!'

And he is ready to pose..

My favorite, ever!

Fierce look! O ha!

And this one comes a close second.. :)

Upon going back to the hotel we saw this race cars and my son wants to have them! He hollered, ' race cars! i want i want!'

This is by the Suria mall if you walk straight from the Twin Towers entrance. You can say this is the exit at the exact opposite.

My model got tired and hungry from his shoot that when he saw this he shouted, 'pretzels!' yes, he knows this and this is his favorite.

Then he ran to candylicous and got his 'choclits' that is his way of pronouncing chocolates. :)

Walking back we saw this group of volunteers, we did our fair share. :)

... and sadly have to start our packing.
